The KN95 mask is a Chinese alternative to N95 masks. BuzzFeed reports that the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said that KN95 masks are as effective as N95 and are one of the "suitable alternatives." According to 3M, the world's largest mask manufacturer, KN95 masks are "equivalent" to N95 masks, and "it can be expected to function very similarly."
